I started my career as a trainee dental nurse in 2005 where I studied for my national diploma in Dental nursing. I realised how much I loved the profession and wanted to become more involved in the patients journey of care so gained my certificate in Dental Radiography. I then went on to Qualify in Oral health education, being lucky enough to run a clinic teaching children about their oral health.
After 8 years I moved to a central London surgery to manage a team of 18 dental nurses and run the clinical side of a large surgery. After gaining the experience and completing a level 4 diploma in Dental Practice Management I have now made the natural progression to Practice Manager at Hoddesdon Dental Surgery.
I have a keen interest in staff training and development and there is nothing I like more than helping colleagues to succeed and be the best they can be.
I am a very kind and caring person and if there is anything I can do to make a patient's journey with us more comfortable or enjoyable I will do my best to accommodate.
