Dr Dami Showunmi graduated from Cardiff University in 2019. She is a passionate and friendly dentist dedicated to creating healthy, confident smiles.
Having previously worked as a Restorative Specialty Dentist in a hospital and as a General Dentist in practice, she combines advanced expertise with a gentle, patient-focused approach.
She has a strong focus on restorative dentistry and also provides Invisalign® clear aligner treatment. She is particularly passionate about caring for children and families.
Her goal is simple: to improve smiles and make every patient feel comfortable, cared for and confident in their dental health.
Dr Dami Showunmi qualified as a dentist from Cardiff University in 2019 and completed her Foundation Training in North London the following year.
Since then, Dami has gained experience in both general and hospital dentistry. She completed further training in Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery at Guy’s Hospital in London, followed by additional training in Oral Surgery at Whipps Cross Hospital.
Alongside her hospital training, Dami continued to work in general dental practice, allowing her to treat a wide range of patients and dental conditions. This experience has helped her develop a particular interest in restorative dentistry, with a focus on helping patients restore and maintain the health, function and appearance of their teeth.
Dami is currently undertaking specialist training in Restorative Dentistry. This involves caring for patients with more complex dental problems and developing her skills in areas such as complex restorative treatment.
