Dental referrals at Hoddesdon Dental Surgery

Referring patients to us

Once you have referred a patient to us we will contact them to arrange a convenient time for an initial consultation. At this appointment a thorough examination and assessment will be carried out and a diagnosis made. The various treatment alternatives will be discussed in an informative and objective manner.

A comprehensive report will then be prepared for the patient, highlighting the treatment options available and any associated costs. A copy of this report will be sent to you as the referring dentist.

You will be kept informed about the progress of any treatment and the recommended after care. The patient will be advised to continue with their regular dental care at your practice and will be discharged once treatment has been completed (or kept under long-term review if appropriate).

MOS Hertfordshire

We are one of the founding member practices of MOS Hertfordshire. MOS Hertfordshire has been selected by the PCT to provide NHS Minor Oral Surgery under LA for Hertfordshire patients.

We have three service locations which will provide the Minor Oral Surgery under LA and we are able to cover nearly all of the geographical area of Hertfordshire from our service locations resulting in easy access for your patients to the service.

MOS Hertfordshire Oral surgeon Shrina Nathwani is on the specialist list for Oral Surgery recognised by the General Dental Council. She, has a wealth of experience of providing Oral Surgery working across London and the South East of England in both NHS and private practice as well as in the Secondary care setting.
